Watch "Clingy" Prince William Strike Again With More Sweet PDA for Princess Kate
A royal simp.
This is a formal petition to change the lyrics of Paul Anka's hit love song to "put your hand on my shoulder" and drop a new music video, except it's just clips of Prince William and Princess Kate engaging in sweet PDA. Because, yesterday morning, that's exactly what William did to show his heartwarming support for his wife as she made another major post-chemotherapy appearance.
On the heels of a viral TikTok video compilation showing William being "clingy" over Kate by guiding her by the small of her back, holding her arm, and carrying an umbrella for her on several occasions, he once again showed he is a golden retriever husband.

An X user captured a loving moment between the royal couple yesterday in a social video that has since gone viral. During the ceremonial welcome for a two-day Qatar state visit, William lovingly looked back at his wife twice as they were walking before gently putting a hand on her shoulder. Though the moment was brief and subtle, it served as a notable symbol of solidarity.
"William just once discreetly laying a comforting hand on her shoulder but otherwise happily letting his wife get on with what she does best—shine," royal editor Rebecca English wrote in a Daily Mail article.
And shine she did at the engagement, which officially welcomed Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani.
The Princess of Wales looked stunning in a monochromatic maroon ensemble, which embraced a perfect winter-ready hue and paid homage to the Qatar flag. She wore a burgundy Alexander Mcqueen coat dress with matching leather gloves, leather knee-high boots, a quilted Chanel purse, and a bow-adorned fascinator. She also honored Queen Elizabeth II by wearing the late monarch's pearl drop earrings and multi-strand diamond-and-pearl choker necklace.
The world just can't seem to get enough of Kate and William's sweet love. While, historically, their PDA has leaned more on the discreet side, they seem to have ramped up their gestures in the past few months as Kate has battled cancer. Their displays of affection reached an all-time high in a video update that the princess posted to Instagram in September, announcing that she had finished chemo. In the emotional clip, the couple hold hands, embrace, sit and lay around together, and exchange many adoring looks. She also gave her husband a sweet shoutout during the voiceover. "This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted," she said. "Of simply loving and being loved."
