ICYMI, Ben Affleck’s 18-year-old daughter Violet Affleck was just spotted wearing a dress previously worn by her stepmother, Jennifer Lopez. (Psssst: See the pics right this way.)
The dress in question, you ask? A truly s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g two-toned Dolce & Gabbana number, which was first famously sported by the celeb during a Valentine’s Day dinner with Ben back in 2023.
During the outing, which took place roughly a year before rumors of marital strife began to surface, J.Lo paired the chiffon dress with a belt that was also designed by the Italian brand and strappy, metallic heels. Fast-forward to August 9, 2024, and Violet, meanwhile, took a more ~chill~ approach by wearing the same piece with unlaced sneakers and white gym socks during a lunch outing in Los Angeles with her stepmom’s twins, Max and Emme.
A reminder that Ben and J.Lo are allegedly gearing up for a divorce any day now. Like, sources are legit saying that the final papers are ready and simply need to be filed. And even more recently, Page Six reported that the musician’s inner circle is not a fan of Ben’s.
“No one, except [Jennifer’s] mother, likes Ben Affleck. He’s a triple-A asshole,” an insider dished to the outlet. “She’s furious. He has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated getting back together. This was definitely not on her bingo card. She would’ve scratched someone’s eyes out if they told her [they’re] splitting up less than two years in.”
Page Six also dropped the news that, in an effort to not “humiliate her further,” Ben is allegedly holding off on filing for divorce, though the two *are* apparently “eyeing” the end of the summer, which is *checks calendar* like, any day now.
And even amid all this ^^, there’s the OMG-worthy news that the couple reportedly has a film in the works called Unstoppable, which is set to premiere in September (FYI, it wrapped up production earlier this year in January). According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, “Behind the scenes, [the couple has] been finalizing what that will look like if they pull the trigger. Their main goal is to remain amicable.”
