‘The View’s Whoopi Goldberg “Schools” Zachary Levi After ‘Shazam’ Star Said Endorsing Donald Trump Could End His Hollywood Career
Whoopi Goldberg gave Zachary Levi a little lesson in Hollywood on The View after the Shazam star said his endorsement for Donald Trump could end his career.
Levi swore his vote for the twice-impeached former president of the United States in a rally in Michigan over the weekend. When the topic came up on the ABC talk show, Goldberg had a gripe with the Chuck alum, saying Hollywood was a “very, very liberal town” that could cost him work in the industry.

“That’s not necessarily true,” Goldberg said. “From the beginning of Hollywood, it’s always been a very right-leaning town. But I know you don’t know much about the Hollywood history, so let me school you.”
Goldberg continued, “We are, like America is, we’re a mixed bunch. And sometime it may seem like there’s more Democrats and sometimes it seems like there’s more Republicans. But the truth of the matter is, very few people seem to bite it because they’re Republican.”

Jon Voight and Dennis Quaid were cited as Hollywood actors who have continued to work in the industry and support the Republican political party.
“Stop that! It’s more BS, and it’s unnecessary,” Goldberg added.
Over the weekend, Levi said he would vote for Trump after his first pick, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., had dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.
“I do believe, of the two choices that we have, and we only have two, Donald Trump, President Trump is the man that can get us there,” Levi said at the Trump event. “And he’s gonna get us there because he’s gonna have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former representative Tulsi Gabbard.”
