Finding the right masks to protect your child at school is crucial, especially now that kids make up a quarter of all new COVID-19 cases. And, as most parents know, you need an arsenal of masks at the ready given that they're easily lost, dirtied or temporarily misplaced.

Well, there's now a new option to add to your must-have mask list: Popular mask maker Vida just launched a new line of KF94 masks for kids. Right now you can get a 10-pack of these highly protective masks for $35.

Not familiar with KF94 masks? It's the South Korean version of an N95. Dr. Mitchel Rosen, associate professor and director of the Center for Public Health Workforce Development at the Rutgers School of Public Health, tells Yahoo Life: “A KF94 is a Korean filtering face piece that is at least 94 percent effective at filtering airborne contaminants.” He continues, “A KF94 meets the standards and specifications of the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.” KF94 masks also have a unique "band" design around the front to help the wearer get a comfortable and snug fit.

Like KN95 masks, KF94 masks have risen in popularity during the pandemic thanks to their high filtration efficiency.

Vida's KF94 masks are manufactured in South Korea and are specially designed to give kids a comfortable, safe option that they can wear for an entire school day. Vida's masks, which are recommended for kids aged three and up, are made of five layers and have a filtration efficiency of at least 94 percent.

These masks come in a slew of different colors, including the more basic black and white, along with light pink and light blue.

And, while you're probably focused on protection when you shop for a mask, it's nice to know that Vida provides a prepaid return label so you can ship your masks back for recycling when you're done using them.

These masks just hit the market, but they already have dedicated fans. "Fits well against his face and stays put throughout the school day," one parent said. "He loves the bright colors." Another said that "my kids had to wear them for eight hours when we took a flight and they did not complain about them once."

Vida's masks are incredibly popular, and they tend to go fast. If you're in the market for more masks for the little ones in your life, stock up now.
