Valerie Bertinelli Fans Beg for a Cameo on 'SVU' After 'Simply Iconic' Snapshot With Mariska Hargitay

Valerie Bertinelli is already good pals with Mariska Hargitay—but now, fans are begging her to get more acquainted with Detective Olivia Benson.

After Bertinelli, 64, shared a blast from the past photo with the Law & Order: SVU star, fans hoped a cameo on the police procedural could be in her future.

In an Instagram photo uploaded Thursday, Nov. 14, the two actresses posed for a silly snapshot in 1997, showing them sporting giant moose hats and smirking at the camera.

Hargitay, 60, also had on a pair of sunglasses in the pic, which she pulled down to her nose for the goofy shot.

"#tbt 1997 Me and Mariska in moose hats. I don’t remember why so please don’t ask me why. 🫎 😝," Bertinelli joked in the caption of her post, before clarifying that the hats may not have been in the shape of moose after all.

"Okay okay they’re not moose hats I don’t know wtf they are 😂 (me and Mariska in big horn sheep hats doesn’t have the same ring to it)," she quipped, before telling her followers, "Just go with it. Sheesh."

Aside from the moose debacle, fans were overjoyed to see Bertinelli and Hargitay together, including one person who called the shot "simply iconic."

"2 of my absolutely favorite women! This makes me very happy," someone else added, while another user wanted to know, "How do you ladies never age?"

After seeing the photo, other fans got the idea for an SVU appearance from Bertinelli, as one person bluntly implored her, "Do SVU."

"Would love to see you on an episode of law & order svu!" someone else insisted.
