United drops $850 return flights to LA

Travellers looking to go States side will be thrilled with a jaw-dropping fare on return flights to LA.

United Airlines is offering a roundtrip from major Aussie airports for as little as $850 for anyone looking for a last-minute getaway.

Travel dates from Melbourne run throughout the year, with the airline’s budget search tool selecting the best dates.

From Melbourne the lowest fare starts at $845.

Sydney flights will be going from $861 on selected dates.

The bizarrely low fares will be available until they are all snapped up, and while it may call for a quick turnaround, it’s a fair few hundred off your typical fare.

The budget fare comes on the back of a stellar week of travel specials.

Earlier in the week, Jetstar dropped a return fare from Japan for the grand total of $0.

Travellers who get in on the deal will only pay one leg of a return flight under the deal, which the budget airline rolls out yearly.

Budget adventurers will be heading into the weekend on a high on the back of the deals, whether they nabbed a free flight home from the delights of Japan or a budget fare to the bright lights of Hollywood.
