In the realm of skincare, many agree that it’s not one-size-fits-all — especially in regards to suncare. But what if there was an infusion of inclusive suncare and skincare? That’s where the Everyday Humans sunscreen came in to save my own everyday routine.

I’m a Black woman who loves washing my face and putting serums on it. But it took me a while to admit that suncare was a part of a skincare routine, too. Everyday Humans is a Gen Z sunscreen brand that made the inclusion of SPF way more seamless.

Described as “comfy SPF,” the brand carries a collection of sun protection products that feel like additions to your moisturizer collection. Did I forget to mention they’re all under $25? Because they are. You will find the brand’s nourishing Resting Beach Face SPF 30 Serum, the Oh My Bod! SPF 50 Body Sunscreen, the No Problemo Pre & Post-Sun Water the Bomb Diggity Wonder Salves in Mint and Watermelon Cannabis, and the new Rosé S’Il Vous Plait SPF 30 Gentle Mineral Sunscreen.

After trying the whole line for myself, I have to say that it’s relieving to find head-to-toe suncare that’s white and purple cast-free. Not to mention, this suncare line is also free of oxybenzone and synthetic fragrance. Without really meaning to, I’ve started using this brand every single day. These UVA and UVB rays don’t play.

Let’s just skip to the brand’s bestseller (and my personal favorite). The Resting Beach Face Sunscreen Serum is unlike any other sunscreen I’ve tested. Made for normal/combo skin, it blends into the skin smoothly like a lightweight moisturizer, and it even leaves you with a nongreasy glow. In my opinion, it could even compete with the new Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor. This one’s also $11 cheaper and fragrance-free.

The line also comes with a body sunscreen (also white and purple-cast-free) that applies like a creamy serum. Lighter than most lotions and sunscreens, you’re getting 80 minutes of sun protection, plus ingredients like cucumber, green tea and hyaluronic acid that all work to nourish and soothe the skin.

Though a lot of people don’t like or care for mists, this Pre and Post-Sun Water is a thirst-quenching addition to those super hot days. With featured ingredients like cactus extract, cucumber water and aloe juice, it makes for a refreshing spritz when your skin is feeling dry.

The lip salves are super hydrating, both the watermelon cannabis and mint rose versions feature papaya to help nourish the lips, cracks or anywhere that needs some extra love. Plus, $9 is kind of a no-brainer.

Everyday Humans’ newest addition to its suncare line is an actual mineral sunscreen with rose extract, aloe water and vitamin E. This addition was made for those with blemish-prone and oily skin, regulating sebum production and soothing inflammation. And while most mineral sunscreens do leave a white or purple cast, this one also does not. As a brown skin girl, the sunscreen did look purple upon initial application and it takes a little more work to rub in than the Resting Beach Face SPF 30 Serum, but nonetheless, still cast-free.

These lightweight products make it easy for me to add sunscreen into my everyday routine — especially in the thick of summer. The best part, for me at least, is that the line is small enough for travel (always reapply, people), it keeps you protected, glowing and it will still leave you looking like you.
