Ulrika Jonsson’s daughter Bo has told how she’s decided not to meet her biological father Markus Kempen for the first time.

The 20-year-old spoke out after Jonsson penned a piece about her ex and how they parted shortly after they had Bo, who was born with a heart problem and needed surgery soon after she was born.

The possibility for the father and daughter to meet recently arose as Kempen and Bo will be on the same Greek island at the same time.

But Bo wrote in The Sun that there is “no space” in her life for her real dad right now.

She also shared that, to her, Jonsson’s third husband Brian Monet is “daddy”.

“I talk about having a 'biological' dad because it’s just a genetic thing to me,” Bo said. “I haven’t been able to make a connection emotionally.”

Bo – the second of Jonsson’s four children – said her mum showed her pictures of Kempen when she was a child but that she “felt no connection and no real intrigue”.

She said her father reached out on Facebook a few years ago and that they exchanged the odd message, then this summer he let her know they would be in Corfu at the same time and could meet.

However, Bo said she had decided not to see Kempen right now as she is “worried it’s going to open up a can of worms for me and mum”.

She said while she is not angry at her father for anything regarding herself, she believes he caused her mum pain.

“I know the day will come when we will meet and it makes me nervous and full of anticipation,” she said. “But as long as I have mum by my side, I think I’ll be able to deal with it. I’m just not ready right now.”
