America's Next Top Model host Tyra Banks is set to pay tribute to the late Charlotte Dawson when the Australian series returns on April 30.

Banks will reportedly remember Dawson through a spoken tribute in honour of the TV personality's life, which was tragically cut short early last year.

Rather than replace Dawson, Australia's Next Top Model has opted to introduce a series of guest judges throughout the series.

This year, these will include names such as Linda Evangelista, Kelly Osbourne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Coco Rocha and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Host Jennifer Hawkins and Dawson's close friend Alex Perry will be joined by model mentors Cheyenne Tozzi and Didier Cohen when the show airs.

"There was a beautiful fragile girl underneath that wanted to be loved," Perry said of Dawson after she passed away.

Since bursting onto the public stage in Australia in the mid '90s, Dawson was a vivacious presence on television screens and in print.

During her career, the effervescent Kiwi regularly covered the glamorous worlds of modelling and fashion for a slew of prime time TV shows before signing on for Australia's Next Top Model.

Dawson authored two books, her first Charlotte's Web was followed by 2012's Air Kiss And Tell (co-authored with friend Jo Thornely). Dawson was also an ambassador for anti-bullying organisation, Angels Goal.
