Two royal family members have made a surprise visit to Australia

Princess Beatrice has quietly joined her father, Prince Andrew, in Australia.

Far from the fanfare that welcomed her cousin Prince Harry and new wife Meghan Markle last month, 30-year-old Beatrice jetted into Sydney largely unseen.

She’s here to speak at a women in business conference for tech company Afiniti, while her dad has been in town since last week to talk at two events held for entrepreneurs.

It was former royal Sarah Ferguson, who spilled the beans about her daughter’s visit, gushing about how proud she was of the princess.

Fans responded by airing their disappointment at not knowing Bea was in Australia.

Darn I wish more people were aware of when your beautiful girls are in Australia, because I for one would love to go and see them,” one person wrote underneath Fergie’s post.

“Heard Prince Andrew arrived in Sydney this week, but did not hear that Princess Bea is here too,” another said.

“Had no idea princess Beatrice was here, shame,” a commenter agreed.

In contrast, the Duke of York had made his visit public, posting on his verified Instagram account about meeting the PM, Scott Morrison.

Beatrice, who has just started dating millionaire property developer, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, wore a smart black blazer and spotted black and white dress as she spoke at the event, believed to be last night.

The Duke has been busy talking at Pitch@Palace events in Sydney and in Melbourne this week.

Last month, Harry and Meghan caused mayhem across Australia, NZ, Tonga and Fiji during a 16-day-long royal tour with 76 engagements.

During the trip they announced the happy news they were expecting their first child.
