TV star embraces her '12 month transformation'

Whenever we see a body transformation on social media, it’s generally people who are sharing their incredible weight loss stories.

However, one television star recently decided to put her own spin on the transformation trend, showcasing how much her body changed in one year after she unexpectedly fell pregnant.

Sharday McAvoy, who starred on The Last Resort last year to save her relationship with her now fiancé Joshua Grocock, is set to give birth to her second child in just four weeks.

Taking to Instagram, Sharday showcased her “12 month transformation, bulking baby style”.

“This is what an 18kg weight gain looks like ladies,” she wrote. “I’m hoping the sumo baby is a good 8kg, minus say 3kg of s**t because of how constipated I am, 2kg of ‘fluid’/blueberry muffins, and that leaves really only 5kg of pregnancy weight gain right, totes happy with that…”

Keeping it real when chatting to Be, the 28-year-old admitted she’s ready for the pregnancy to be over so she can chow down on some sushi and enjoy a glass of wine.

“[It’s] safe to say the wine cravings are through the roof with the stress of this pregnancy,” she said. “The final countdown is on though, 4 more weeks to go and I’ll be consuming a lot of sushi, sashimi and champers!”

Sharday, who is already mum to three-year-old Tyla, also revealed this pregnancy “has been challenging and nothing compared to [her] first”.

Last year, Sharday and her partner Josh appeared on The Last Resort in an attempt to save their relationship, and the pair have only gone from strength to strength.

So much so, they’re the only couple from the show that are still together.

After Josh proposed on the show last year, the couple are still engaged, but have had to put their wedding plans on hold for now.

“Marriage plans are definitely on the books, we are planning a 2020 wedding once I get my pre baby body back,” Sharday explained.

“We had planned on getting married at the start of the year but our little miracle baby happened after we had stopped trying so we have postponed everything.”
