If you find that your entire house could use some freshening up scent-wise — but you don’t want to light a bunch of candles — try adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil to your air filters and let your AC do the work. If your dishwasher smells a little stale, put a little bit of lemon juice into a dishwasher-safe ramekin or cup, put it in the dishwasher and turn on the rinse cycle.
All of the pet lovers out there will know the struggle of keeping their space smelling great. If you can relate to that, then try adding some fabric softener and water to a spray bottle and using it on animals beds or your pet’s side of the couch!
