Truth behind Victor and Piper's secret MKR romance

Last night MKR’s Veronica Cristovao exposed the shock romance between Piper O’Neill and Victor Aeberli.

Now the My Kitchen Rules contestant has revealed how the hook-ups started between her cooking partner, Piper, and rival co-star, Victor.

“Things happen,” Veronica tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “Piper’s a big girl. She didn’t plan for this to happen, it just did.”

The reality star says Piper and Victor “became quite close” when the two teams began spending time together.

“Victor and G were helping us out with the cooking side of things,” she explains.

“They’re quite knowledgeable in their food. They’re amazing cooks. So that’s where it all started.

“Obviously there was a click between Victor and Piper and that’s what happened.”

Last night Veronica let slip to the other contestants that Piper had been going into Victor’s bed at night.

The revelation came after other contestants were pressuring Piper was to admit to an alliance with Victor, and Veronica felt the gossip taking a toll on her as well.

“Definitely it was a distraction,” Veronica tells us of her cooking partner’s relationship.

“And the point also too that she’d just keep getting hammered on the table and people wanting to know. Everybody just wanted to get in the business between Piper and Victor. At the end of the day, it’s their business, nobody else’s.”

As for their relationship status now, Veronica says the MKR lovers are the only ones who can confirm that.

“Friends with benefits, whatever they are, it’s their business to tell what they are,” she says.
