Tributes flow for Aussie model Annalise Braakensiek
Tributes are flowing in on social media following the tragic death of Australian model Annalise Braakensiek.
Many who worked with the star, who was found dead in her Sydney apartment at age 46, remember her as the “sweetest person” who “communicated such positivity”.
“So sad and gutted to hear about the passing of Annalise Braakensiek, she was an amazing person,” tweeted Here Come The Habibs star Rob Shehadie.
“I will always cherish the great memories we had on the set of Fat Pizza and on tour. God rest your soul Annalise.”
“Vale Annalise Braakensiek. I recall working with her at @Channel7 at the start of her career,” wrote Patty Huntington.
“She always seemed like the sweetest person. Cheers to someone who communicated such positivity throughout their short life, although apparently all is not what it seems on Instagram.”

“So saddened to hear of your passing this morning. In the 20 plus years I’ve known you, you have never changed,” penned TV presenter Sophie Falkiner.
“Kind, compassionate, vivacious, warm and spiritual. You were passionate about animals, vegan cooking, wellness and people. You loved hard and felt everything. A beautiful person inside and out. You will be missed.”
Makeup artist Rae Morris said: “No words ! You always always looked out for me and was always finding ways to help me with my depression! I wish I could of helped you more with yours !! Devastated!!!”

Former Home and Away star Christie Hayes also commented on one of Annalise’s Instagram posts, writing: “So sorry to hear this devastating news. Sending so much love to all xx”.
The model was found dead in her Sydney apartment on Sunday afternoon.
Friends of the lingerie designer reportedly became concerned when they had not heard from her in a few days.
Police rescue and ambulance later attended her Potts Point apartment where they found her body.
There were no suspicious circumstances and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.

Annalise, who also ran an organic recipes line, had moved into the apartment last year following a split with her stockbroker husband, Danny Goldberg.
During an interview with the Daily Edition in 2017, she opened up on her battle with depression and role as an ambassador for RUOK? Day.
“It was the … negative reaction people had to me being depressed and falling under the dark cloud,” she said at the time.
