‘Tribunal Justice’ Gets Early Season 3 Renewal By Amazon, Targets Fall 2025 Syndication Launch
EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of Tribunal Justice‘s Season 2 premiere on Prime Video, slated for early 2025, the daily court show created and executive produced by Judge Judy Sheindlin has been renewed by the streamer for a third season, Deadline has learned. Production is slated to begin next week.
With 170 episodes in the can (and around 300 when Season 3 is factored in), Tribunal Justice‘s distributor, Scott Koondel’s Sox Entertainment, is gearing up to launch the program in broadcast syndication in fall 2025. That is a year ahead of Sox’s original plan for Tribunal Justice to roll out in fall 2026, a move motivated by the success of the fall 2024 launch of Sox’s other Sheindlin series for Prime Video, Judy Justice, as well as available TV stations shelf space amid declining current syndicated shows and dearth of viable new offerings.

Like Judy Justice, which has been renewed through Season 4, Tribunal Justice was an Amazon Freevee original. In light of Amazon’s decision to shut down the free, ad-supported video on demand streaming platform and migrate its slate of programming to Prime Video, both Tribunal Justice and Judy Justice will continue to stay in front of the paywall, with their new episodes available to non-Prime customers.
Tribunal Justice is presided over by Judge Patricia DiMango, Judge Tanya Acker and Judge Adam Levy. They are coming back for Season 3, as are bailiffs Cassandra Britt and Petri Hawkins Byrd. Sheindlin, Showrunner Roland Tieh and Koondel executive produce. Sandra Allen is co-executive producer.
Sold in every TV market for 100% clearance, Judy Justice launched as the No. 1 new fall 2024 show in homes and all key demographics, building upon its lead-in as well as from its first to second half-hour.
“With Tribunal Justice now being renewed for Season 3 on Amazon Prime and the successful launch of Judy Justice, the marketplace is primed for another hit court series,” Koondel said. “The seasoned cast is already well known in syndication making this series a sure thing in syndication”
