Travis Kelce Has Been Doing a Deep Dive Into Taylor Swift's Most Niche Songs

There was a time when Travis Kelce was what can only be described as a fair weather Taylor Swift fan. If you were to ask him what his favorite Swift track was, he'd be ready with—well—a pretty basic response. In April 2024, he cited "Shake It Off" as a favorite. Then, in May 2024, he added "The Alchemy" and "So High School" (you know, the ones about him) to the list. In June 2024, he noted that "Blank Space" was his ultimate fave. However, it seems that Kelce is slowly becoming a true Swiftie. Since June, Kelce appears to have undertaken a real deep dive of his girlfriend's discography. And now, like a true Swiftie, he's become a fan of some of her most niche deep cuts.

"'Death By a Thousand Cuts’ is one that I’ve learned to absolutely love," said Kelce in a recent episode of his podcast New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce. Kelce then revealed that he has done what every true Swiftie has done—he has watched her 2019 NPR Tiny Desk concert. “I’ve watched Tay’s NPR, her Tiny Desk and she played it on that one and that’s where I fell in love with it,” Kelce said.

He then added that "Cowboy Like Me," Swift's 2020 track from the album evermore, is "another good one."

Despite his apparent foray into Swift's deep cuts, Kelce added that "Blank Space" remains his all-time favorite tune. “I mean ‘Blank Space’ is a song that I’ll always listen to forever,” he said. “It’s just unbelievable, everything about it.”

As Kelce continues his deep dive into Swift's discography, Swift herself is about to wrap up her Eras Tour, which began back in 2022. The singer performed her final show in Toronto this week where she broke down in tears while thanking her band and fans. Her final Eras Tour show is scheduled for Dec. 8.

Although Kelce's mother previously reported that the pair would probably not be spending Thanksgiving together, a source told the Daily Mail that the couple would be spending a quiet weekend together.

"Taylor is spending the holiday with Travis and several family members," said the source. "Taylor and Travis are both grateful to have the day off so that they can just really relax and enjoy their second Thanksgiving together." Apparently, Kelce has been assigned to "dishes duty," while Swift cooks the meal.
