Tom Holland saves Zendaya from aggressive crowd during night out in NYC

Holland was forced to intervene when the "Euphoria" star was mobbed by fans and paparazzi.

It isn't easy being Hollywood's "It" couple.

During a recent night out in New York City, Tom Holland had to intervene when fans and photographers began to throng too aggressively around his girlfriend, Euphoria star Zendaya. Recently released footage shows Holland wrestling Zendaya, 28, out of a thicket of waving arms and flashing cameras, commanding, "No, no, no, give her some room."

Thankfully, he managed to pull her out of the swarm, gently pushing one photographer to the side so she had enough room to get through.

Holland was in New York City to promote his new non-alcoholic beer Bero, and was mobbed along with Zendaya while leaving the brand's official launch party at the Nine Orchard hotel.

The 28-year-old actor first teased Bero on his Instagram on Oct. 13, releasing a short promotional clip three days later and bringing a video of himself delivering shipments of Bero around New York City while making an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers this week.

"We're walking through Grand Central Station and I'm so insulted," he joked during his interview with Meyers, who pointed out that no one seemed to recognize him. "I'm Spider-Man! It's New York City! Come on!"

Holland and Zendaya met in 2016 after being cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first of their Marvel collaborations. Zendaya has since appeared in two subsequent films as MJ Parker with Holland — Spider Man: Far From Home and Spider Man: No Way Home — while Holland's appeared as the web slinger in a total of seven films, including Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The couple has remained elusive about the nature of their relationship, with Zendaya telling GQ in 2021, "The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own." She continued to explain that "loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”

Holland confirmed on Late Night With Seth Meyers (while seemingly wearing the outfit he was photographed in defending Zendaya) that after completing his six-picture deal with Marvel, he's opted to don the Spidey suit again and will return for a fourth Spider-Man film.

"I got cast as Spider-Man nearly a decade ago. It changed my life for the better, and I will forever be grateful to Marvel and Sony," he told Meyers. "I wanted to make sure that if I was gonna do this again, we could service the fans and bring something that's just as special and something that is just as exciting. So, I really feel like we've cracked it. Our director and writers are doing fantastic work and I could not be more excited."

Holland's director for the three previous Spider-Man films, Jon Watts, will not be returning for the fourth installment. EW has not only confirmed that the follow-up to 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who helmed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings for Marvel in 2021, but that the untitled fourth Spider-Man film will have a release date of July 24, 2026.
