Tom Holland is making moves in the movie industry.

Holland, 28, is expanding his relationship with Sony Pictures by signing a deal to develop movies with the company through his new production company Billy17, which he recently formed with his brother Harry Holland and producer Will South.

Tom, his brother Harry (the pair have two other brothers, Sam and Paddy) and South plan to launch their production company by developing an original project titled Burnt, with Academy Award-winning filmmaker Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) writing its script. The movie is "envisioned as a starring vehicle" for the Uncharted actor, according to a release.

In addition, Billy17 is preparing to adapt the novel The Rosie Project for Sony's TriStar pictures and an adaptation of another novel, The Winner, the latter of which also expects to star Tom.

“I’ve had an incredibly happy and successful relationship with Sony Pictures for almost a decade, so they felt like the perfect partner to launch our production company with,” Tom said in a statement. “It’s been an ambition of mine to take this step for some time now, and we’re incredibly excited to bring entertaining, and rewatchable movies to the big screen. This is the hope for us, and it starts with Burnt, an idea which has been sitting in our heads for a few years, and having Rodney attached to pen our most ambitious project is incredible. We’re diving into the deep end here, and we’re extremely excited for what comes next.”

After starring in a production of Romeo & Juliet in London this past summer, the actor appears poised to shoot multiple movies in the next year; he was cast in Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie earlier this year and confirmed during an appearance on The Tonight Show in October that Spider-Man 4 will begin shooting in summer 2025.

Multiple reports have indicated that filmmaker Nolan, 54, intends to shoot his untitled upcoming movie beginning in early 2025. That movie, which will also feature Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong'o and Tom's girlfriend Zendaya, is also expected to release in theaters July 2026.
