Tom Brady Shared Another Cryptic Post Amid Gisele Bündchen's Third Pregnancy
The NFL star appears to be in his feelings.
Following Gisele Bündchen's pregnancy news, Tom Brady has been taking to Instagram to share some cryptic quotes with his followers.
In the former football player's latest Instagram Story, he shared a card with quotes from a 1910 speech from former president Theodore Roosevelt. The passage, more commonly called "The Man in the Arena," shares a near identical name to his ESPN docuseries, Man in the Arena: Tom Brady.
“It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, because there is no effort without error or shortcoming, but who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself in a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat,” the quote read.
It isn't the first time that Brady got in his feelings on his Instagram Story—on October 29, the day after the supermodel's pregnancy was announced, he shared lyrics to The Chick's "Landslide" on his Instagram Story with a picture of a sunset.
The new quote comes a week after People revealed that Bündchen, Brady's ex-wife and mother to their two children, Vivian and Benjamin, is pregnant with her third child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente. “Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” the couple said in a statement.
A source close to the supermodel recently told People that Bündchen is “excited to embrace this new chapter openly.” The 44-year-old “received many positive messages and congratulations” from family, friends, and fans online after the news went public. While the model “wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.”
