Karl Stefanovic's savage response to new MAFS star live on Today
Today's Karl Stefanovic is dropping red-hot opinions left right and centre this week and it seems not even reality program MAFS is safe from his razor-sharp observations.
The 46-year-old breakfast host made it very clear he was unimpressed with new groom Sam Carraro, when the 32-year-old reality star appeared for a live interview on the show this morning.
On last night's episode of Married at First Sight, which returned for a brand new season on Monday, clothing brand owner Sam was matched up with pilates instructor Coco Stedman, but almost as soon as he met her, he dissed her on camera.
After the pair tied the knot, Sam told a producer: "I've just met her. She might be a really lovely person, but she's definitely f**king extra and out there. She's not my cup of tea."

The comment clearly incensed Karl who got very fired up about the commentary ahead of Sam's appearance telling co-host Sylvia Jeffreys, who is filling in for an injured Ally Langdon, that he felt 'angry' over the whole thing.
"I'm a little bit angry about all of this... " Karl admitted. "They matched Sam up with Coco, who I think is an out and out personality... I think she's fantastic!"
"Sam her bloke, clearly doesn't think so and well I've got a problem with him," he concluded.
Once the groom in question was on-screen Karl turned his incisive commentary to the source, asking him what his 'problem' was.
'There's no real problem with her, when I first met her she was very out there and very extra and it just sort of caught me off guard," Sam defended himself.
"Is it any wonder you can't find a partner when you judge them within two minutes?" Karl savagely responded.
Thankfully the very pointy interview smoothed out as Sam took the perhaps slightly exaggerated comments on the chin.
"Listen to Karlos," Sam said. "He's having a go at me and I love it."
The good-natured response had Karl cracking up in no time, and the groom was farewelled with far more warmth than he got at the start.
It comes after fans were left disappointed with the series today following the revelation that a promo for the series inadvertently served up a mammoth spoiler.

MAFS editing fail accidentally ruins affair storyline
During the first episode of the 2021 season, the show revealed there would be an affair at some point and while they blurred out the couple, Tuesday night's MAFS episode has appeared to confirm who that groom is.
In the footage, you can see a muscly arm with a huge tattoo that is seen stroking a brunette woman's leg and that tattoo seems to match Cameron's ink.
During the teaser, the woman tells Cameron that she wished they'd been matched by the experts instead
At this stage in the show, there are only two brunettes, they are Coco Stedman and Belinda Vickers, however, it's possible the woman is an intruder who will join the cast later in the show.
Married at First Sight continues on Channel Nine on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30pm.
