Yahoo Lifestyle Influencer suffers unfortunate mishap while recording video: 'I had a heart attack'
Learning a viral TikTok dance is hard, and even if you crush the complicated dance routine, it still might not turn out to be the entertaining video you think it is.
A TikTok user, filmed herself dancing around a room to the song “Waka Waka” by Shakira, abandoned all choreography to go with the flow — and the result was far more entertaining than any run-of-the-mill viral dance post.
When the video begins, user lopezlu34 can be seen waving the glass top from a coffee table around, over her head.
Commenters said they expected her to drop the glass and watch it shatter everywhere, but the twist is much more unpredictable than that.
She then danced over to the coffee table from which she removed the top, laid down in it and pulled the glass over her head.
All was well for about two seconds, before she started beating on the glass top, realizing it was stuck and she could not get out. That’s when the screaming began.
The video ends before we find out how she escaped, but she clearly did, as she has continued to post on TikTok since then.
Her post clearly struck a chord — it has more than 10 million likes and 43 million views.
TikTok users were thoroughly shocked and a bit concerned.
“I can’t stop watching this,” one said.
“I had a heart attack,” another wrote.
“I tried to scream, but my head was under glass,” a third commented.
