Everyone knows they’re taking a risk when purchasing new beauty products, especially if you’re buying online. You hope that they’ll work and be right for your skin, but in the back of your mind, you know there’s a chance you just wasted your money.

That is exactly how I’d describe my experience buying eye creams. I am always so optimistic that the latest, greatest products that have rave reviews or are blowing up on TikTok will help improve the look under my eyes. But often, the products do absolutely nothing. I hardly ever see any visible improvement in the discoloration or dullness, and I’m left feeling annoyed that I was duped yet again.

But that all changed when I tried Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I’d heard really great things about this eye cream, but given that so many other eye creams in the past were a letdown, I’d decided I was not spending another cent on it. I’d convinced myself it was all a scam, and I wasn’t going to be suckered into wasting any more money.

But as luck would have it, a friend accidentally received an extra Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and passed it along to me. Given that it was free, I said, “what the heck,” and started using it one night.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado Review

By night three, I was a convert. To be clear, Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado only claims to gently hydrate the delicate skin under your eyes without irritation. The cream promises to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, puffiness or discoloration. Personally, I really appreciate that this isn't an oversell; Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado does exactly what it says — nothing more, nothing less.

As someone with extremely sensitive eyes, I was truly shocked that I could slather this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado all over my eye area, and there was no irritation or watery eyes whatsoever. I can’t be sure if the product seeped into my eyes or not because I never experienced any discomfort when using this eye cream.

As I previously mentioned, I apply this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado before bed, and I’m always so impressed with how good my eyes look when I wake up. You know how your eyes are all drab and dull in the morning, and it takes them a few minutes to perk up? This eye cream totally eliminates that. As soon as I wake up, my whole eye area looks brighter and more awake. Now, I don’t go to sleep without applying a generous swipe of this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.

I’m hardly the first person to fall in love with Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. It gets rave reviews all around the internet. On Amazon, it has 4.5 out of 5 stars, and there are lots of positive reviews.

“Amazing eye cream,” one shopper wrote. “I tried this eye cream because my niece recommended it. She was right! You only need a tiny amount, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. It really seems to help with tiny wrinkles and with leaving my eye area looking brighter and more refreshed. I will definitely be buying this again.”

Another shopper commented, “It looks creamy but it’s a very thick and tacky. Which is fine if you pat it on. With the warmth of your skin it almost seems to melt. I usually use it at bedtime and by morning my skin looks very hydrated.”

To be clear, I am still not convinced there is an eye cream that can truly make wrinkles or dark circles disappear, but I can say this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado has definitely improved the look of my under-eye area. I’m buying another jar while it’s on sale on Amazon right now, and you should, too. It’s worth the hype!

P.S. If you’re wary of buying beauty products on Amazon, you can also score this top-rated Kiehl’s eye cream at Nordstrom. It’s not on sale, but it’s still worth every penny.
