Thomas Markle says Meghan's treating him worse than a murderer

He may have been cut off by the royal family but that hasn’t stopped Thomas Markle from slamming how they’ve treated him to anyone who’ll listen.

The 74-year-old former lighting director, who sensationally pulled out of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding just days before it took place on May 19th, has claimed he’s being unfairly shunned by his 37-year-old daughter.

Speaking about the photos released before the Windsor Castle wedding, where he was snapped being fitted for a suit and browsing pictures of his daughter in an internet cafe, Thomas claimed he was ‘convinced’ to do the shoot and regretted it.

“I apologised to Harry on the phone and all he said was, ‘If you’d listened to me, none of this would have happened’. I did a few things wrong, said a few things I should not have said,” Thomas said in an interview with the Daily Mail.

“But some of the Royals have done far worse things… There are convicts in prisons who have murdered and committed all kinds of horrible crimes, and their daughters still visit them.”

Thomas went on to claim he has sent numerous text messages to Meghan since her nuptials but has been completely frozen out of her life.

In September, Thomas revealed in an interview that he fears his daughter, may never speak to him again following his string of interviews about her marriage to Prince Harry.

“I want to say good luck and God bless to my daughter. I don’t expect to see her or hear back from her — and that’s OK,” he told The Sun.

“All I was doing was saying things I wanted to say. I just want to re-establish the relationship with my daughter.

Thomas, who dramatically pulled out of the Duchess of Sussex’s May 19th wedding after suffering a be/auheart attack, has also reportedly previously told friends he’s ‘heartbroken’ over the rift between him and the royal couple.

“I haven’t talked to Meghan and Harry for a long time. I think they’re shot of me now,” Thomas allegedly told pals, according to The Mirror.

The Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, then accused Meghan of abandoning their dad in a scathing interview with A Current Affair.

“Like you know if you can afford $75,000 for a dress, you can afford $75,000 to help your dad,” she said.

“You need to step up to the plate and make sure he’s well taken care of.”
