The wild new GoT theory about Sansa

Amy Stevenson

As fans prepare for the season finale of Game of Thrones, there's a new theory floating around that has sent die-hard viewers into meltdown.

With the Stark sisters currently at odds on the hit show, fans have been left wondering if actress Sophie Turner hasn't given away a major spoiler about her character Sansa!

Sharing a photo to Instagram with on-screen sister and off-screen best friend Maisie Williams, the pair goof around in a behind-the-scenes shot, but it's the 21-year-old's pose that has fans speculating whether or not Sansa is pregnant!

That's right, could Winterfell hear the pitter patter of little feet?

The gal pals give their best gangster pose in the funny snap, with Sophie cheekily grabbing at her crotch, while Maisie, who plays little sister Arya, is seen crouching behind her.

"In honour of the Thrones finale out tomorrow night, and of 6 mill followers on instaaaa... here's da reel roadmans of westeros," Sophie captioned the snap in celebrations of the season finale.

However fans took exception to Sophie's pose, asking whether or not her character will leave viewers with a cliff-hanger ending!

"Please tell me she isn't pregnant' and 'Is Sansa pregnant???" One follower wrote, while another more confidently added: "Sansa is pregnant. Boom!"

And there's no shortage of who the baby daddy might be, with others suspecting it was one of the show's most despised characters - and Sansa's former husband - Ramsay Bolton

"Lord she bet not be pregnant with Ramsey's [sic] baby," another fan commented.

Whether or not there will be a Baby Stark remains to be seen, but we don't have to wait long to find out!
