The Simpsons legend dies aged 64: 'Very talented'
He worked on the show for 33 years.
The cast and crew of The Simpsons are in mourning after the death of a colleague who worked on every episode of the popular animated series for 33 years.
Chris Ledesma, who served as the show’s music editor from its premiere in 1989 up until May 2022 when he stepped down due to health reasons, has died aged 64. His cause of death has not been revealed.
The program paid tribute to the TV legend’s passing in its most recent episode, showing an animated version of Chris holding a conductor’s baton while sitting alongside Homer, Marge, Lisa, Maggie and Bart on the Simpsons’ famous brown sofa.
“In loving memory of Chris Ledesma,” the cartoon was captioned.
