The Block stars should sit up and take note, after Shelley Craft pocketed a pretty penny with the sale of her Byron Bay home.

The TV host added a pool and a separate studio apartment to the six-bedroom house which she bought in 2016 for $3 million. She also landscaped the garden and just sold it on for a cool $4.9 million.

Featuring resort-style decor and a large kitchen complete with an open-air atrium, the home has the holiday feel many people move to the Byron Bay area for.

It also boasts four bathrooms and access to a beach track that leads right down to the water.

However Shelley she told Domain that the clincher was the loving way she and her real estate agent husband Christian Sergiacomi undertook the renos.

“There’s a big difference between renovating for profit and renovating to create your ideal family home,” she said, “and it’s the latter that really translates for buyers around Byron because it’s very much a lifestyle-driven market”.

Christian sold the property himself through his agency Pacifico Property, which operates out of their home.

The pair are no strangers to renovations and property flipping, with Shelley telling 9Honey in 2018 that she’d turned over an impressive 22 properties in 24 years.

Shelley was in the headlines recently for a different reason however, after she shared her unusual day on a plate.

The mum-of-two said she only eats during a six-hour window in the middle of the day, and that the routine helps her ‘digestion and suits her lifestyle’.

"When at home, I try to only eat between midday and 6pm, and not before or after," she told Good Health & Wellbeing Magazine.

"I'll have a bulletproof coffee (brewed coffee, unsalted butter and coconut oil) for breakfast, then something to eat at midday.”

Meanwhile, The Block host Scott Cam has been mulling over his future on the show, telling TV Week, “I might be in trouble – another three years and I will be 60”.

“I was thinking about it the other day, 'What is going to happen next?’”
