If You Travel Alone, Tell Us The Safety Tips That Even The Most Seasoned Solo Travelers Need
My dad always tells me, "You are your first line of defense," meaning to always be extremely cautious about your safety to help avoid potential risks and dangers. This includes when traveling and especially when traveling alone.
For me, that means constantly paying attention to my surroundings, staying in recommended places, going inside before dark, and double-locking my doors. The list goes on.
That said, I'm curious about the measures you take while traveling alone to help protect yourself.
Maybe you research the place you're traveling to beforehand so you're aware of different areas and places to avoid.
Maybe you find a group to hang out with once you've reached your destination so you feel more comfortable venturing out.
You could even avoid carrying cash or take a self-defense tool around with you.
