Homeowners, Tell Me The Expensive Project You Did That Was Not Actually Worth It

Hello, homeowners of BuzzFeed! I am coming to you today to ask: what is a home improvement project you've embarked on that was absolutely not worth it?

Maybe you tried out something trendy that just did not work for you, and was not worth the money. Tell me about it!

Perhaps you installed something cool like solar panels, but found out while later trying to sell your home that they didn't appeal to every buyer. What was that like?

Maybe you paid for an expensive kitchen renovation you thought you'd love that didn't end up making you any happier with your space — or worse, made you less happy with it. What happened?

Maybe you put a lot of money into setting up a beautiful garden... only to discover that your gardening phase was just that, a phase, and now it's getting overgrown. ...Tell me about it!
