Just a few days after Twitter eupred over one hilarious hygiene question, Taylor Swift has weighed on the bizarre debate.

Last weekend, Twitter was set alight when a a poll posted by user Conor Arpwel asked people whether or not they wash their legs in the shower.

Almost 20% of the poll admitted they skip the pins in the shower.

Now, singer Taylor Swift has given her answer to the question, after appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday.

Ellen put the question to the 29-year-old who immediately reignited the debate online with her bizarre answer.

“I do cause when you shave your legs isn’t that shaving cream is like soap right?,” Taylor said.

Elle responded saying: “I think that’s a reason why most women wash their legs because we have to because we shave our legs.”

Ellen just clarified with the singer that if she doesn’t need to shave her legs, she doesn’t actually wash them?

“I kind of always shave me legs,” Taylor said, to which Ellen replied, “Every day?”.

“I mean yeah,” Taylor said.

But people on Twitter were left confused by the star’s confession.

“Taylor Swift said “shaving cream is basically soap” so as long as she shaves her legs, she doesn’t need to wash them in the shower,” one person said.

“Taylor Swift saying that she shaves her legs....acting like she hasnt had laser hair removal..we know how rich you are ma’am,” another person online said.

“I’m offended that Taylor Swift shaves her legs everyday.”
