Taylor Swift sings love letter mashup on piano in Toronto
As the cheers echoed through the Rogers Centre Thursday from 49,000 fans, the spotlight highlighted Taylor Swift in a raspberry and blue dress.
"This is one of my favorite parts of the night," Swift said to the Toronto crowd before explaining the rules of the acoustic set, the part of the Eras Tour when she sings a selection of songs on the guitar and on the piano. "Wish me luck."
Swift performed the first verse and chorus from "Mr. Perfectly Fine," an upbeat vault track off "Fearless (Taylor's Version)."
"Oh you guys know that one, huh?" she smiled to the crowd that responded with a roar. "Sing if you know this one. ... Time for a little revenge."
The fans packed to the brim of the arena lit up knowing perfectly well she would sing "Better Than Revenge" from "Speak Now" next. (And for those wondering if it was "Taylor's Version" with the new chorus line, "He was a moth to the flame, it was.)

Swift rounded out the two songs with the melded line, "You deserve some applause cause you're so much better, and you're Mr. Perfectly Fine."
While the first two guitar songs were angsty tracks written in break-up spite, the next two songs on the piano were a love letter of falling deeply for someone.
Swift played a slow-paced, endearing acoustic of "State of Grace" from "Red (Taylor's Version)" with "Labyrinth" from "Midnights."
The ending note from the singer-songwriter was: "This is a state of grace. I'm falling in love. I'm falling in love again. I'm falling in love. I thought the plane was going down, how'd you turn it right around?" She smiled and traced her fingers down the piano.
