Taylor Swift Drops New Merch with Sweet Nod to Travis Kelce on National Boyfriend Day
The singer's new Greatest in the League collection is inspired by her song "The Alchemy," which fans believe is about Kelce
Taylor Swift's new merch might be a wink to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, the 34-year-old superstar released the Greatest in the League collection, which is inspired by her song "The Alchemy" from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department. The line features crewnecks sweatshirts, hoodies and sweatpants in neutral colors of black, gray, and ivory and white. The items are also emblazoned with the album logo.
Fans are convinced that the collection is a nod to Kelce, 34. Not only is the "The Alchemy" rumored to be about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, but the drop happened to fall on National Boyfriend Day. Some also think it may have been an early birthday gift to the NFL star, who turns 35 on Saturday, October 5.

Upon release of The Tortured Poets Department in April, fans were quick to call out the apparent references to Swift's relationship with Kelce.
"So when I touch down/ Call the amateurs and cut 'em from the team/ Ditch the clowns, get the crown/ Baby I'm the one to beat," the Grammy winner sings in the penultimate track.
Later in the song, she makes another sports reference: "These blokes warm the benches/ We've been on a winning streak."
However, given the use of "bloke," a word commonly used in the U.K., and references to a past lover, it's possible that Swift was also singing about her her ex-boyfriend, English actor Joe Alwyn.
Others are convinced the song is about Swift's ex Matty Healy. In one line, she sings, "He jokes that it's heroin but this time with an 'e,'" she sings. The 1975 frontman has been open previously about his struggles with heroin use.
