Saunders, who shared a photo of the Grammy winner, 34, giving him a big hug on stage following a performance in the Midnights section of her tour, further opened up about his thoughts working with the singer for the string of shows.
“Taylor! My girl! 🥹 you have steered the HELL out of this ship. So gracefully!!,” he wrote. “With poise, confidence, heart, passion, kindness, utter bravery and love!!! Every SECOND of this with you I felt seen, honored, celebrated, valued, respected…”
He continued, “Babe, I would follow you anywhere at any time in any universe in EVERY lifetime. It has been the honor of my life to have been at your side night after night!”
The dancer, who was often seen besides Swift during several key moments on stage, including her songs “22,” “Karma” and the transition into "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," quickly garnered popularity among fans. He even got to rub elbows with Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage when he stepped into costume briefly during one of her London shows in June.
“I won’t get too carried away because I know you have a birthday coming up and I’ll probably have some more overly sentimental s--- to say. LMFAO 😂😂😂 But I love you! Thank you! 🤍,” he concluded his message.
