Tanya Hennessy's video about girls on their period is spot on

If there's one thing all of us girls can relate to, it's periods.

We all get them, we all hate them and we all pretty much have a horror period story to tell.

Comedian Tanya Hennessy hits the nail on the head with all of her tell-it-like-it-is videos but 'What Girls Say on Their Period' is extra relatable.

"Oooops and I just sneezed my tampon out," is one of the zingers Tan blurts out in her latest video for Be.

'Can you just rub my back real quick, babe?'

"That's me out of sex for a week THANK CHRIST!"

Our thoughts exactly, Tanya.

And we all know we have a pair of grim period undies. Tanya describes them as "faded, they're quite baggy, they have about 40 stains on them."

That's them!

And, just like us, Tanya has a horror show period story to end all period stories.

"Getting my period in white pants at the movies on an excursion in year 8 (is my worst story). I walked out and everyone was laughing at me and I couldn't figure out why," she explained.

"Horrific. Worst thing was I had to stay in those pants all day with a jumper around my waist. A FILA jacket around my waist. White pants, blow up green back pack and a FILA jacket- Ugh the 90s were cruel to us all."

OMG those blow up bags were epic.

Tanya reckons that time of the month hasn't got much breezier as the years have gone on.

"It's actually the worst, I always tell people I'm on my period so they know why I'm being a psycho bitch," she says.

"Literally, I tell my boss and co announcer and producer every month just so they know why I'm being more of an irrational mess than normal."

Clearly, I have no boundaries - which is why I'm always in HR."

YAS KWEEN!
