Surprise cast member of Sydney's Crazy Rich Asians

It’s one of the highly-anticipated shows to kick off Channel Ten’s Pilot Week, and Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians will feature a surprisingly familiar face when it premieres tonight.

The show follows the lives of three women – successful realtor Lulu Pallier, beauty pageant winner Emily Yu, and ‘charity princess’ Crystal – but it’s one of the men of the show that viewers may recognise.

No, it’s not Karim Gharbi who attends to the main characters’ extravagant requests, but rather one of the love interests on the show.

A trailer for Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians shows a scene where Emily is wining and dining a male companion, who is none other than Love Island Australia star Jaxon Human.

Emily, who was crowned Miss Australia Chinese 2016, is seen enjoying a private lunch at Bennelong Restaurant at Sydney’s Opera House.

With just the two of them in the room – yes, she hired the complete eatery – Emily and Jaxon are seen laughing as they enjoy their date.

Jaxon, whose real name is Kristian Jordan Nagel, was a fan favourite on Australia’s Love Island last year thanks to his resemblance to Sons Of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam.

He’s also worked as a stripper, and his Instagram account proves he’s done a fair bit of modelling in his time.
