This swimsuit costs $470, but can you see what's seriously wrong with it?

The weather is starting to heat up and for those on the hunt for a perfect swimsuit, Gucci are selling these classic vintage logo ones.

However, while the $470 ‘Sparkling Swimsuit with Gucci Logo’ bathers may look super-chic, there’s something very bizarre about the fabric used to make them.

On the Gucci website, the brand clearly states the swimsuit Is made up of 80 per cent nylon and 20 per cent elastane.

However, it’s the next line that has us all scratching our heads, as it states you can’t use the bathers in a chlorine pool.

“Due to the nature of this particular fabric, this swimsuit should not come into contact with chlorine,” the Gucci website reads.

Gucci have styled the ivory sparkling lyrca swimsuit with a pair of mom jeans, purple socks, black and gold heels and a black biker jacket.

It’s not the first time a designer brand has sold a questionable item on their website.

Balenciaga released a $4,000 bag last year, with people claiming it looked exactly like a blanket bag.

In 2010, designer Jill Sanders sent models down the catwalk holding a $285 brown paper bag.
