Samantha Armytage’s furious rant at Jetstar

Jetstar is in Samantha Armytage’s bad books and she’s letting everyone know about it.

The 43-year-old Sunrise host took to her Instagram Stories last night to call out the budget airline, slamming them as ‘the worst’.

“Jetstar Australia you are the worst. Paid $700 for last minute flights to Queensland for a funeral,” Samantha started her post.

“Then charged $60 extra at gate home for same amount of carry-on as we flew up with yesterday. Go figure?”

The veteran TV host went on to say that from now on she will always fly either Qantas or Virgin when she wants to take to the skies.

“Not to mention how rude the staff are, while they’re charging you extra,” Samantha continued, showing off a legroom shot of how little space she had during the flight.

Then, the host uploaded screenshots of the replies she got on her Instagram Stories from other Aussies who feel the same way about Jetstar.

The comments ranged from “they are a rip off” to “Jetstar are a nightmare”, with Samantha agreeing with them all.

It’s not the first time a celebrity has slammed the budget airline, as back in february, former Bachelor star Sam Wood called Jetstar “incopetent” after he and his wife, Snezana, were left stranded with their kids in Hobart after their flight was canceled.

“Seriously why would anyone in their right mind fly this airline?” Sam said in his Instagram Stories.

“Six hour delay, no comms (communication), condescending staff that, to be frank, were a little incompetent and then completely unapologetic.

“Sick baby, pregnant mumma, cranky teenager,” he added. “Safe to say dad’s lost the plot.”
