After all, Seattle isn't that far from L.A.

Nearly four years after Suits went off the air, the legal drama is officially making its primetime TV debut again—this time, in sunny Los Angeles. Back in October, Deadline reported that the series creator Aaron Korsh was "in development for a Suits offshoot" with NBC Universal, and now, a month later, plot and cast details are starting to emerge.

The new show, called Suits L.A., will focus on Ted Black (played by Stephen Amell) a former New York prosecutor who sets up an L.A. law firm, specializing in criminal and entertainment cases. And while the reboot involves a new location and a new set of characters, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) from the original series will definitely be returning for three episodes.

On Wednesday, Macht seemingly confirmed the news with a brief clip posted to Instagram. In the video, the actor wore a white button-down shirt with Harvey's initials "H.S." embroidered on the cuffs, as well as a pair of brown dress shoes with the name "Harvey" inside. “When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right,” he wrote in the caption of the clip, which was set to the Suits theme song, “Greenback Boogie.”

Deadline has also reported that Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross, has also voiced interest in reprising his role. As for whether any other members of the original cast (Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle) will make appearances, that's yet to be determined.

For those who didn't watch the initial series, Markle played paralegal Rachel Zane for seven seasons before becoming a member of the royal family. Her character and Adams's Mike Ross decided to get married and move to Seattle, where they started their own law firm. And with Seattle being on the same coast as Los Angeles, there's a chance the Duchess of Sussex could appear on the show.

Rachel Zane's on-screen comeback wouldn't be completely out of the question, as Markle has made an unexpected return to acting since leaving the royal family. Back in December 2023, she starred in an ad for the coffee brand Clevr, and most recently, she signed on with the global talent agency WME

Suits L.A. premieres on NBC on Feb. 23.
