Succession season 1-4 spoiles below

Season four’s eighth episode, titled America Decides, was everything we had hoped for from Succession’s third to last ever episode.

America went to the polls, Connor was hopefully waiting to find out whether he was going to be president, Democratic candidate Jiménez and Republican candidate Menken were neck and neck, the sibs were upstairs, being kept away from interfering with the events of the night, and a frazzled Tom, with Greg back at his side, was running around the ATN offices trying to make sure that the news organisation was providing quality coverage. In its first post-Logan election, the eyes of the nation were on ATN and Tom was feeling the pressure.

Here is our pick of some of the best fan reactions to this week’s drama.

It was full of drama as America went to the polls

The sibs broke their dad’s golden rule and got involved in the election

The internet has provided some coming relief

But for some people it was all a bit triggering

America Decides was a hard reminder about the callous nature of the Roys

While others were less surprised

Team Shiv felt like they lost this week

And some fans felt that Jesse Armstrong – who said episode eight was a particularly shocking episode – had been having them on

So with just two episodes left to go, who is going to win?
