A group of tourists have been left amazed after a group of humpback whales swam right up to their lodge whilst they were having breakfast.
The Great Bear Lodge in British Columbia, Canada shared the incredible footage of the beautiful ocean animals splashing about in the water, leaving people are in awe.
Guests of the hotel were visibly surprised by their unlikely visitors, rushing outside to the dock in the dressing gowns to catch a glimpse of them in action.
The isolated resort, which sits directly on the water of Port Hardy, said they regularly see the animals but “never this close”.
“We’ve had humpbacks close to the lodge before, but never quite this close,” they wrote alongside the 30 second clip on Facebook. “I guess they wanted to check out the delicious breakfast.”
Their incredible footage is wowing hearts around the world, gathering more than 233,000 views in the first few days.
“Holy smokes – that’s amazing,” one person commented.
Another said it was “wonderful” describing the spectacle as a “special moment” for everyone involved.
It certainly was a memorable way to wake up in the morning.
