Studio 10 host Sarah Harris hits back at misogynistic troll
Studio 10 host Sarah Harris has hit back at a misogynistic troll who accused her of ‘using her body to bolster ratings’.
The man made the bizarre statement on Twitter, where he wrote: “@SarahHarris My estimation of Australia took rather a nosedive, seeing how you use your body, to bolster flagging ratings? Who are you trying to control?”
The Aussie TV host took to her own account to write back, posting a photo from The Handmaid’s Tale showing June wearing her handmaid’s overalls, alongside the caption: “Thanks so much for your feedback on my TV wardrobe John. You're right, skin is the devil's work (especially WOMEN'S KNEES. Gross) and ladies must be covered from neck to ankles at all times. Just checking today's look meets your exacting standards?”

Fans immediately rallied behind the star, with one person asking the man: “Did you get brought up in the 1950’s?”
Another person said: “If you are scared of seeing an elbow or a woman’s ankle maybe the problem is with you…”
Another pointed out that the man is clearly on Twitter to simply troll people, saying: “It’s always someone with eight followers”.
It’s been a rollercoaster few months for Sarah Harris, who announced back in March that she split with her husband of seven years, Tom Ward.
“Tom and I are taking time apart, however we remain good friends and deeply committed to co-parenting our two beautiful boys,” Sarah said in a statement to The Sydney Morning Herald.
Sarah and IT specialist Tom met on a night out in Paddington, before he got down on one knee at Balmoral Beach five years later and popped the question.
They married in 2014 at Sydney private boys’ high school Riverview, in the St Ignatius Chapel. They held their reception at the Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay.
Sarah and Tom have two children together, Paul and Harry.
