Fans of former Strictly Come Dancing stars James and Ola Jordan are convinced the couple may be about to launch a new fitness video after they candidly discussed their body image after becoming parents.
Last month, Mrs Jordan - who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 to 2015 - was inundated with support after she shared what she considered an unflattering bikini snap and she admitted she was “horrified” over her physique.
The TV personality wrote alongside the image: “Hi guys, I wasn’t going to post this picture but I’ve decided to because I’m horrified and so disappointed with myself and by posting it I’m hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it.
“Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG... It was a total shock to say the least! When did we get ‘mum and dad bods’ ????
“We know we’re not in our best Strictly shape but hey that’s what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby (I just want to know James’ excuse).”
She signed off by writing: “Stay cool everyone. I think I need to avoid the ice cream for a while!!! Couples That Eat Together Stay Together.”
In light of their comments, fans online suspect that the pair’s openness about their weight struggles is a ploy ahead of a new workout video or diet plan.
One claimed on social media: “I’d bet my house there’s a Christmas ‘fitness’ video from these two.”
“Probably a fitness program on the way,” another alleged. “I can sense a new diet and dance show in the offing.”
A more cynical fan questioned: “Sounds like there will be a weightloss video or reality show on the cards... Running out of money?”.
Despite fans’ speculation, a rep for Ola and James Jordan denied that the pair have signed any commerical deals regarding weight loss.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, the spokesperson said: “We have actually been approached by various people wanting to work with James and Ola to help them lose the weight since she posted her bikini photo on Instagram.
“But they want to confirm that they have not signed any commercial deals to lose weight and feel very strongly that if they decide to get in shape at some time in the future, as ex-professional dancers, they have the knowledge and experience to do it their own way.
“They have been so delighted with the support of their followers and will of course keep them updated via Instagram.”
Meanwhile, the professional dancer, 39, revealed after sharing her candid bikini photo that her husband James, 44, likes to poke fun at her weight.
However, she insisted she willingly dishes it right back to him as she admitted she knows “he loves me whatever size I am”.
She told MailOnline: “You know what James is like - he’s always taking the mickey. He jokes I’m not the woman he married but then I say to him - what about you and your big belly?!
“But obviously we don’t really mean it - much! I know he loves me whatever size I am but let’s face it neither of us look in Strictly shape do we - so we’ve got matching mum and dad bods now!”
Mrs Jordan also revealed she’s “always struggled with my weight” and explained her priorities have changed since becoming a mum to her daughter Ella, with her no longer worrying about her diet.
