Steve Irwin’s niece steals spotlight with racy snaps
The late Steve ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin was known all over the world and now his niece appears to have stepped into the spotlight, albeit in a completely different way.
Rebecca Lobie, the daughter of Steve’s sister, has attracted attention online by sharing some rather racy bikini photos on her Instagram account.
The mum-of-two has opened her formerly private Instagram account to the world sharing a mixture of impressive bikini shots, sweet family moments, and a sneak peek into her modelling.
Who is Rebecca Lobie?
The 32-year-old is pictured in a variety of colourful, barely-there swimsuits that show ample amounts of skin, including a hot pink leopard print thong.
A family woman, Rebecca shares two sons with her partner Michael all three of whom regularly appear on her social media.
According to her Facebook page, Rebecca now works about a 45-minute drive from her late uncle’s animal park, Australia Zoo where the Sunshine Coast Grammar School graduate reportedly used to be employed.
The blonde stunner has undergone a transformation of late swapping brunette locks for bombshell blond waves, and adhering to the ‘less is more mindset’ when it comes to her swimmers of choice.
It’s a far cry from the beauty’s former dress of choice - khaki.
The daughter of Joy Muscillo (née Irwin), Steve’s older sister, Rebecca previously shared snaps from Australia Zoo, famous cousin Bindi in tow.
A snap from 2014 shows Rebecca, Bindi and Rebecca’s son posing for a happy snap in their regulation zoo outfits on Steve Irwin day at the late wildlife warrior’s former workplace.

Rebecca’s mum Joy and her husband, Frank Muscillo, used to be employed as a food court manager and general manager, respectively, at Steve and Terri Irwin’s Australia Zoo.
Rebecca has also been spotted around the zoo in the past and is rumoured to have been an employee herself.
That was until Frank was reportedly “walked out” of the premises by his sister-in-law, Terri, in mid- 2016, Joy told Daily Mail.
Joy and Frank now run a restaurant and have been estranged from Terri and her children, Bindi and Rob ever since.
The Irwin rift
The Muscillo family’s rift with the Irwins came eight years after Steve’s father, Bob Sr - who founded the Zoo with his late wife Lyn back in the ‘70s - quit the business in 2008.
Like his daughter Joy, the 80-year-old has also been estranged from Terri and his two grandchildren since then.
Joy, however, maintains contact with Bob Sr, who now lives in Kingaroy, southern Queensland with his second wife, Judy.
The private couple are said to rarely leave Camp Chilli, their isolated 260ha property, which features an imposing chained-up gate with signs ordering people to keep out.
Bob Sr recently revealed that he’s not welcome at his granddaughter Bindi’s upcoming wedding to Chandler Powell.
“No, I haven’t had an invite to the wedding and, to be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t expect to be invited to the wedding,” the wildlife conservationist told the Daily Mail in September.
After relocating from Melbourne to Beerwah, Queensland in 1970, Bob and Lyn opened a small wildlife park called Beerwah Reptile and Fauna Park.
Twelve years later, the park expanded and was renamed Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park.
Bob and Lyn handed the park over to Steve and his new wife Terri in 1991, who met and married that same year.
Steve and Terri renamed the park Australia Zoo in 1998, and a decade later Bob resigned.
Steve passed away aged 44 after being impaled by a stingray barb on September 4, 2006, on Batt Reef in Queensland.
