Stars pay tribute to celebrity manager Harry M Miller

Aussie stars are are paying tribute to celebrity manager Harry M. Miller who has died at the age of 84, after battling dementia.

His daughter Lauren confirmed the sad news via a statement on his agency HMMG’s twitter earlier this morning, revealing the dad-of-five had passed “peacefully” yesterday.

Singer and actor David Campbell was one of the first to react to the announcement, taking to social media to offer his condolences and describe Harry as a “titan” of our industry”.

“My first production I saw of his was his Jesus Christ with Farnham,” the 44-year-old wrote.

“But he broke new ground with Rocky Horror and JCS in the 70s. Made stars out of Marcia, Jon English and so many more. RIP.”

Aussie personality Derryn Hinch also paid his respects, telling his 64k followers they shared a similar start in life.

Others shared fond memories of the well known manager, including high-profile journalists Angelia Bishop and Melissa Hoyer.

Harry retired after a long and successful career in 2009 and just two years later revealed he had been diagnosed with dementia.

His agency, which represents stars such as Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg and famous nutritionist Lola Berry, said the “visionary” agent was with his long term partner Simmone Logue when he died.

His daughters Justine, Brook and Lauren were also there with their mum Wendy.
