In the opening of the clip, four graphic designers held each of the brand's artistic works in one hand, while waving with the other. "We're the creative team behind the holiday cups," text over the Reels video introduced.

The content then continued to display the process, providing explanations behind the inspiration for each cup's unique look. "From sketch to reality, we pour craft and care into every cup and each of our designs tells a unique story."

One specific cup featuring colorful overlapping circles came into view against a backdrop of blurred holiday lights, followed by another ripple-effect one that "is a tribute to festive ribbon and the rolling hills where our coffee is grown."

The inside preview of the holiday beverage holders concluded with a note that the café "can't wait to share them with you."

In the comment section, fans expressed joy for the upcoming release.

"These are so cute and cheerful! 💕🎄☕️," one exclaimed, while another reacted, "Oh this is fun! I’ve actually always wondered about the design process!"

A third admitted, "I’ll be there as soon as y’all open! So excited!" and an additional follower dubbed them the "Prettiest ones yet!!"

On the other hand, several voiced disappointment over the "feel" of the designs. "We want vintage cups! Not a throwback to your old cups, but vintage 1980’s-2000’s cups when Christmas felt like Christmas," one campaigned, with another chiming in, "They need to feel more Christmas like."

"These cups do not scream holiday at all!! Go back to the 'feeling' of holiday @ starbucks," another coffee-lover urged.

The four holiday cup designs drop on Nov. 7, 2024, aligning with the release date for Starbucks' limited-time winter menu.
