Booted Bachelor star Nichole hooks up with former MAFS contestant Billy Vincent

Just when you thought Vakoo Kauapirura and Rachael Arahill’s new romance was the best thing to come out of The Bachelor mansion, we’ve got another one for you.

Nichole Wood said goodbye to the bachelorettes on last night’s show, but she’s already forgotten all about Matt Agnew by the looks of these recent photos.

The tomboy was seen locking lips with former Married at First Sight star Billy Vincent, after a dinner date on the Gold Coast.

Having swapped her platinum blonde locks for a darker shade, Nichole was looking loved-up with her new man.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Nichole revealed the pair’s romance is very new, but looking promising.

“That was our first date and it obviously went really well,” she says, revealing it just happened last week.

Nichole says it’s Billy who initiated contact with a classic Instagram follow, but it’s taken some time for the reality stars to actually meet.

“He’s been asking me out on a date for a month or so now. It’s been a timing thing,” she explains.

“I’ve been busy and he’s been asking and asking. I haven’t had time... I finally bit the bullet and went on a date with him, then next minute, everybody knows about it,” she laughs.

“Initially [I thought] Billy’s not really my kind of thing either, but he was really nice and I am open to trying new things and I have obviously been looking in the wrong direction for guys, that’s why I’m still single.

“Being in an experience dating someone like Matt as well, I’ve opened my mind up to not just going for the one set type that I think I should go for. I think Billy is great and he’s showed me I don’t have to go for that certain type. He’s a really nice guy.”

We all remember Billy from his tumultuous time as an intruder on this year’s Married at First Sight, where he was paired with single mum Susie Bradley - who is now going steady with NRL bad boy Todd Carney.

After leaving the ‘social experiment’, Billy revealed he and fellow star Tamara Joy, had engaged in a little affair after they failed to find love with their assigned spouses.

“Me and Tamara started a little something on the show,” Billy told Yahoo Lifestyle at the time, adding: “She already knew about Dan [and Jess] and she sent me a few messages telling me she wanted to start something”.

“I’m not sure if she wanted to do a full partner swap but I think she had some prior knowledge that Dan was playing up on her.”

Meanwhile, according to Tamara, it was Billy who first reached out with romantic intentions, saying, “One dinner party Billy got extremely drunk and hit on me. He just kept saying, ‘I noticed you from the start Tamara’.”

They fizzled out, however, so here’s hoping Billy and Nichole have a longer run.
