‘Spider-Noir’: Andrew Lewis Caldwell Joins Amazon’s Marvel Series

EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Lewis Caldwell (The Matrix Resurrections) has joined the recurring cast of Spider-Noir, the upcoming MGM+ and Prime Video live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Details regarding his character are under wraps.

From executive producers/co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot and Sony Pictures TV, Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Nicolas Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.

Spider-Noir is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video. Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is set to direct, and executive produce the first two episodes. Oren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel’s The Punisher, Shantaram) will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers.

Caldwell most recently had a starring role in the feature The Matrix Resurrections and the comedy-horror Cursed Friends for Comedy Central. His TV credits also include iZombie, American Vandal, Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes, The Librarians, and voicing the role of ‘Howard Weinerman’ on Disney XD’s animated series Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja.

In the feature world, he’s had roles in Transformers, College, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, All About Steve, and My Best Friends Girl. Caldwell is the founder of the ALC Acting Studio in Buffalo, NY.

He is represented by Paradigm and Artists First.
