The highly anticipated Spice Girls reunion has finally hit the stage in Dublin, but many fans have been left irate over serious sound issues.

The all-female pop group hadn’t performed together in over seven years, before they hit the stage to perform to the 75,000 strong crowd.

Baby (Emma Burton), Scary (Melanie Brown), Sporty (Melanie Chisholm) and Ginger (Geri Horner) were all in attendance, although Posh (Victoria Beckham) was a notable absent.

Fans could barely contain their excitement in the lead up to the reunion concert, and flooded social media with posts anticipating the ‘concert of their lives’.

Another notable absent was apparently the sound quality, with several fans fuming after the highly anticipated performance was deemed barely audible.

Some fans went so far as to say ‘Spotify is a better option than this’, while others slammed the sound as ‘dreadful’.

Fans were earlier thrilled as the iconic band took the stage to perform fan favourites such as ‘Wannabee’, ‘Viva Forever’ and ‘Spice Up Your Life’.

While some fans were still delighted with the performance, for others the sound issues clearly spoiled the concert.

Earlier, the original memebers shared their own excitment to social media.

Gerri traded in her now-blonde locks for her famous ginger curls to bring Ginger spice back to life.

Mel B and Mel C even shared a sleep over, posting a selfie taken the next morning to social media.
