Yahoo Lifestyle Spencer Pratt says Heidi should join “Real Housewives” series and 'upstage all these basic ladies'
Speidi is just itching to get back on TV. The publicity-loving duo even have a specific idea for Heidi: Get her on the Real Housewives franchise and have her "upstage" everyone.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter to promote their pop culture video podcast with the Ringer Podcast Network, aptly titled Speidi's 16th Minute, husband-wife duo Spencer and Heidi Pratt opened up about their desire to see Heidi join the long-running reality franchise, and why they think it hasn't happened... yet.
When asked if she still wanted to join the Real Housewives and if she thought Andy Cohen was the reason she hadn't yet been successful in doing so, Heidi said, "I think so. He made a statement a while ago that he would never want me on it and that I wasn't for their franchise, but I think that he's so wrong."
"I don't know if he's just a Lauren fan or what, because I would think that he would appreciate the reality star that I am," she continued, referring to her longtime feud with former The Hills costar Lauren Conrad. "I completely make sense to be on one of these shows. Maybe before when I was younger that didn't quite make sense. But I'm 37 now, and as a mama too, I could easily go on Orange County or Beverly Hills."

Spencer agreed, saying that Heidi must be too polarizing for the show. "I think the quote I've heard used before, and I think it's a compliment, is 'Heidi's too polarizing for some of these shows.' She'd upstage. I know that's my love for her, but I truly think she'd upstage all these basic ladies."
Even if the Real Housewives thing never pans out, Speidi may be returning to a television screen near you sooner rather than later. Though they don't give specifics, the couple teased that they have one of their "biggest dream team projects in the works."
"It's an idea Heidi and I've been saying, I can't believe no one's come to us for 10 years to do. And then this big heavy-hitter came with that idea," Spencer said. "So the paperwork's just getting signed and if it goes through it would all come together just like a vision."
Since The Hills ended in 2010, Speidi has not made themselves scarce. The duo have appeared on numerous reality shows, including Celebrity Big Brother seasons 11 and 19, Celebrity Wife Swap, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars 2, and the short-lived spinoff The Hills: New Beginnings.
