Snoop Dogg is once again making waves at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
On Wednesday, Aug. 7, the hip-hop star, 52, surprised the winners of the women’s 200-meter final for Track and Field with a congratulatory phone call.
"Great job, ladies! Great job!" Snoop, who has served as a special ambassador for NBC during the major sports event, can be heard telling the champions in a Facebook Reel shared to the official Team USA Track and Field account.

The video featured Gabby Thomas, who won the gold medal for the U.S., Julien Alfred, who took home silver for Saint Lucia, and Brittany Brown, the bronze winner who was also from the U.S.
During the conversation, Brown excitedly told the “Gin & Juice” rapper that she was from his hometown of Pomona, Calif.
"Snoop Dogg, I know you have a team in Pomona, Calif. I’m from Pomona … I’m just letting you know I’m from Pomona. IE, Pomona," she said, to which Snoop replied: “You already know — most definitely. Y’all made me proud today.”
Snoop has been taking over the Olympics with his commentary and appearances with Martha Stewart, with whom he has been friends for nearly 26 years.
They celebrated the cookbook author's 83rd birthday at the equestrian team dressage event on Saturday, Aug. 3, where they sported matching riding helmets, jackets, white pants and coordinated sunglasses.
In a Today show interview, Stewart said that the "Drop It Like It's Hot" performer asked her to attend the specific event.
"Snoop called me, and he knows I love horses," she said, adding: "He's a little fearful of horses."
Snoop previously surprised the businesswoman with a special cake from Snoop and Cookie Monster for her birthday.

During his time at the Olympics, he took a hilarious tour of the Louvre for the official NBC Olympics & Paralympics TikTok account, danced the Olympic torch through Paris as one of the final torchbearers ahead of the Summer Olympics opening ceremony on July 26 and even took a selfie with Billie Jean King.
“Met the incomparable Snoop Dogg. Both of us were born and raised in Long Beach, California, and graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School. LBC forever in our hearts,” the tennis legend, 80, wrote on Instagram alongside a selfie and other photos of her with the rapper.
