‘SNL’ Brings Back This Year's Most Viral Skit Just 4 Weeks After Its Debut
Undoubtedly, one of the most viral Saturday Night Live skits in recent memory is this season's “Bridesmaid Speech" (aka the Domingo sketch), which has racked up a jaw-dropping 15 million views on SNL’s TikTok and another 10 million on their YouTube page. In the sketch, host Ariana Grande and a trio of other bridesmaids (played by Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman) sang a song to honor their recently wed friend (Chloe Fineman) to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” but they haphazardly also reveal the bride cheated on the groom with a man named Domingo while on the bachelorette trip.
After the the sketch's massive success, it seemed likely that SNL would serve up a sequel, but its return just four episodes later speaks to the skit's popularity. And who better to star in the follow-up than another pop icon, Charli XCX. Pulling double duty as both host and musical guest this week, Charli delivered another hilarious song parody, this time taking on Chappell Roan’s mega-hit “Hot to Go.”

The audience went wild as soon as the quartet took the stage, knowing a “Domingo” sequel was imminent. Swapping the wedding reception setting for baby shower vibes, Charli XCX, Gardner, Nwodim and Sherman each took turns singing about a Miami girl’s trip that went a little off the rails, leading to even more major revelations. “She says eight months ago is a little bit hazy/ I’m 90 percent sure that it’s not Domingo’s baby,” Charli sang.
As things devolvee, we learned that Fineman’s character was not only still texting Domingo, but she used the "Babymoon" trip as a cover to meet his entire family and had been learning Spanish to communicate with them. “D-O-M-I-N-G-O/ Kelsey’s learning Espanol!” Before the end of the sketch, Domingo himself (Marcello Hernandez) arrived with the most shocking reveals of all, but we’ll let you watch that for yourself below.
